RLGS 1101 Religious Lives: Jesus (4 Credits)

The title of this course has a two sided connotation. From one perspective, the title recommends our own is an investigation of a religiously critical figure. Jesus is one such verifiable personage. Henceforth his life is the object of study. The course title likewise indicates the accounts' character. They are "lives," "religious lives" of Jesus that emerged out of narrating societies. In those connections, stories were perused and heard so anyone might hear, frequently "performed" and adjusted. Accounts are not "life stories" of Jesus, as we ordinarily think about that kind.
