About McNeese State University 

McNeese State University is a state funded college situated in Lake Charles, Louisiana, in the United States. Established in 1939 as Lake Charles Junior College, it was renamed McNeese Junior College after John McNeese, an early neighborhood teacher. It embraced its present name in 1970. 

McNeese is a University's piece of Louisiana System and is arranged by the Carnegie Foundation as a Master's University. U.S. News and World Report assigns McNeese as a Tier One Regional University. The particular affirmations college comprises of six universities and the Doré School of Graduate Studies. McNeese is licensed by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and all projects of study are certify by their separate national sheets
